Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina Browm's boyfriend, was on Dr. Phil for some stupid reason. This was a horrible thing for both Dr Phil and Nick Gordon to do in making money off the tragedy of Bobbi Kristina Brown's hospitalization. Moreover Gordon's words make me wonder how responsible he was for her condition. Not cool. Not for Nick Gordon or Dr Phil. Stay tuned.
I am totally late. I just saw Robert Scoble's "white space" message and I am sad but also happy that he had the courage to just let it all hang out and explain what he elected to do and why. We were not buddy buddy but we did have fun times together and I prefer to remember the January 5th impromptu dinner we has at CES 2015. That was a fun time. Robert caused that, and the meal was paid for by one of the patrons who's secret I will keep. (Unless he tells me to do otherwise). Robert you are fun and loved and missed.
I tell Ya Atlanta Georgia weather is just plain weird. It was 40 degrees when I arrived Sunday but then kicked up to 70 on Tuesday, when President Obama flew in to town. Now it's 55 degrees and raining. Nuts.
Is High Tech Talking Barbie An NSA Spy? Is the new Barbie that 'talks' and 'listens' to your conversations an NSA spy? Consider that this new High Tech Barbie is actually Internet aided and the microphone sends conversations to a server - and then uses the stored back and forth talk to make new responses. Suppose it can pick up background conversation and has a GPS built in? Then someone could listen in on family talk if Barbie is at the table and locate the source of the conversation. So if the family happens to harbor a terrorist then Barbie becomes a good NSA spy. But what if it's a misunderstood talk? Then Barbie becomes a bad NSA spy. Look, Mattel, who makes Barbie, is not going to come out and say that the data is not shared with the NSA. If it's given to a third party, Mattel has its cover. Mattel would have to have a disclaimer that it's data is not shared or sold. Personally I think that is not enough. That kind of device should be outlawed. Stay tuned.
Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke Lost the Marvin Gaye Lawsuit where the Gaye Family argued that "Blurred Lines" sounded like "Got to Give It Up" and have to pay $7 million. I expected that outcome but guess what? Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke and T.I. will appeal the verdict Wow. They should just respect the Gaye family. It does sound like his legendary work. So why not give them a cut?
47 GOP Senators Broke Law With Iran Letter The 47 GOP Senators who wrote the letter defying President Obama's work in trying to secure a nuclear deal with Iran have broke the law in the process. The 1799 Logan Act says this: "“Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”" And that is what the 47 GOP Senators have done, and violated The Logan Act. The President is the Comander-In-Chief, and is supposed to be able to act in such a way without this kind of interruption. The 47 GOP Senators should apologize to President Obama.
Chip Kelly Wants Marcus Mariota for the Philadelphia Eagles - don't be fooled. The Eagles Head Coach tipped his hand when he said that someone at a team wanted to give up their first round pick for him. Chip knows what he has got and don't think he is not going to try a run at him.
